Student Volunteer Opportunities

Flat Rock Brook Nature Center seeks high-school student volunteers to help with many projects year-round—but especially in the summer. Here is a listing of current volunteer opportunities for high school students:

Boy Scout projects (Left) Life Scout Jonathan Pearson, along with 15 scouts from Harrington Park Troop 616, worked to refurbish Flat Rock Brook's aviary in order to complete the requirements for becoming an Eagle Scout. A number of scout groups have completed badge requirements by completing projects at Flat Rock Brook. (Below) A student volunteer disguised as a racoon at Nature Day.
