Flat Rock Brook's  6th annual Great Fall Festival
October 21, 2018

Flat Rock Brook held its 6th annual fall festival on October 21st.  Mother nature delivered cool temperatures suiting an autumn afternoon celebration.  Families arrived with kids bundled for a beautiful afternoon outdoors.

Mid-day sunshine warmed the skies enough to allow little fingers to be bared for painting and carving pumpkins, playing games and making crafts.  A fortune teller read tarot cards forecasting things like whether or not the future includes a much wished for holiday puppy.

Live bluegrass music by Blue Plate Special created a festive atmosphere for sitting and eating delicious BBQ like pulled pork sandwiches, grilled chicken, vegetarian chili and homemade cornbread prepared by Rustic Caterers.

Thanks to the 200 members of the preserve and community that spent the afternoon enjoying a day of family fun and festivities.  We look forward to seeing you next year!
