Great Fall Festival

Flat Rock Brook held its 7th Annual Great Fall Festival on October 20th.  Over 150 people came out to join us despite the rainy weather.  It was a great day of fall festivities, BBQ and bluegrass music.

We brought back a big favorite this year - kayak rides on Quarry Pond.  The rain didn't dim enthusiasm as kids and families lined up for their rare turn around the pond.  Pumpkin carving and painting were other outdoor highlights that were enjoyed under a tent canopy keeping the little crafters dry.

Many of our activities, such as the beanbag toss, face painting, ring toss and photo booth were successfully brought indoors where everyone enjoyed despite the minor change in venue.

We served our delicious BBQ from our full-service kitchen and folks were seated in our beautiful light-filled exhibit room to enjoy both a great meal and live Bluegrass music by Blueplate Special.

Thanks everyone for coming out and enjoying a great afternoon with us.  Hope to see you again next year!
