Hike through the same forest that was home to the Leni-Lenape tribe. Learn about their culture and customs through storytelling and art projects.

Take a trip to Flat Rock Brook to learn all about the changes plants and animals go through during the fall season.

After School Fall Programs
Ages 8 - 12
Each week, hikers will map out a new route and learn a new outdoor skill from our expert trail guides.
Tuesdays 4:00pm - 5:30pm. Price is for all six sessions.

Each week, young explorers will join a naturalist for a conservation-themed story followed by a guided sensory hike.

Nature loving artists will have the opportunity to learn about different aspects of our ecosystem from a naturalist. Each short lesson will be followed by an art project based on that week’s theme.

Nature and Me! 18 to 48 months
Family Programs are one hour long unless otherwise noted. These programs are written for the ages listed in the description or may be appropriate for the entire family. Program fees are as marked in the description and must be paid in advance. Siblings over the age of 18 months may not attend but feel free to utilize the other public areas of FRB while you wait.

Fall Session I: Thursdays, September 10 2026 to October 15, 2026 - from 10:30 am to 11:30 am - REGISTRATION CLOSED. CLASS IS FULL.
Bring your favorite adult for a fun story, songs, crafts, movement, and a hike in our fabulous forest. Themes for this series are: Turtles, Frogs, Snakes, Owls, Squirrels & Acorns, Autumn Leaves.
For children aged 18 months to four years with an adult. $60.00 per child for 6 classes.
Fall Session II: Thursdays, October 29, 2026 to December 17, 2026 - from 10:30 am to 11:30 am (no class November 5 or November 26) REGISTRATION CLOSED. CLASS IS FULL
