This health and wellness initiative—offered in partnership with the City of Englewood, the Englewood Health Department, Englewood Health, and Flat Rock Brook—encourages physical activity as a step toward better health. The six-session program lasts one hour and includes a walk around the half-mile White Loop Trail. Every class focuses on a different chronic condition—such as cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes, chronic respiratory illness, cancer, and neurological disorders—highlighting how walking and other physical activities can help prevent and manage these conditions. Participants will meet in front of the Nature Center.
