Laura joined the Flat Rock Brook staff as a Naturalist-Educator after 30 years as an elementary school teacher in the Wayne Township Public Schools.  She holds a degree in Elementary Education from Seton Hall University and she has a master’s degree in Environmental Studies from Montclair State University’s School of Conservation. Laura is passionate about outdoor education and its power to foster curiosity, instill environmental values and promote stewardship.  

She enjoys hiking, kayaking, yoga and reading.
