Public Programs

For information on these programs, or to register for any program below please email Carol at carol@flatrockbrook.org or use the button below labeled “Public Programs” to register and pay online. Please note you need to email Carol before 12:00 at least two days before the program if you have not registered. Classes fill up quickly and some programs may be cancelled if registration is low.

Nature and Me!

This exciting, Hands-on learning experience, designed for the toddler and caregiver, meets on Thursdays at 10:30 am. Families will learn about nature while practicing social skills and school readiness. So come sing, dance, hear stories, explore the forest, and express yourself through arts and crafts. Pre-registration and fees are required.

Conservation Club: Exploring eco-systems and developing stewards of nature.

Explore the world during these 1.5 hour, hands-on learning journeys. Each themed series has five lessons. Using microscopes, water and soil quality testing, experiments, live animal demos, hiking, and loads of fun we explore Flat Rock Brook and the world beyond. For learners ages 7 to 12.

Forest Fables: Storys with a lesson!

These new programs are designed for a variety of ages because EVERYONE loves nature! we dive into a nature story then hike, craft, meet animals, and have loads of fun with games and activities! Caregivers can feel free to drop your kids off with one of our trained naturalists or stay and participate in the fun with them!
