Flat Rock Brook Nature Preserve provides a healthy habitat for a wide variety of plants and animals. Explore the different adaptations that help each creature survive in its habitat. How does the rabbit get away from the fox? What helps the mouse elude the owls and snakes? Find out who survives during this week-long look at Survival of the Prey! **Please note this week is a half-day of camp Monday through Friday. We do have ½ day on July 4, 2025.

Yo-Ho and Ahoy maty! Come to Flat Rock Brook for an ocean of fun! Learn how the sea and the ocean work together to make amazing waves to surf or calm seas to sail. Dive into the deep to explore coral reefs, learn about fish that light up, and see a camouflaging sea critter. Haven’t had enough sun? Come outside and play beach games and take a canoe ride with your camp friends!

Flat Rock Brook Nature Association’s property has undergone so many changes. This land has been underwater, creating areas with fossilized sea life, was under miles of glacial ice, leaving its mark on stone slabs. In more recent times this area was home to indigenous people, colonial settlements, farms, residences and even a rock quarry. Explore the past, learn about early cultures, and use clues to uncover facts about Flat Rock’s history.
