Flat Rock Brook Nature Association preserves 150-acres of forest, meadow, and wetland eco-systems, creating native habitat for plants and animals of New Jersey. Explore the world of forestry and see what it takes to keep this beautiful piece of nature the important oasis it is. Campers will hike, canoe, garden, and explore with our highly trained Wildlife Ecology counselors while completing hands-on projects to help keep Flat Rock Brook an important wildlife sanctuary. Hiking boots, water bottle, garden gloves, and bug spray highly recommended for this active camp week.

Was under miles of glacial ice, leaving its mark on stone slabs. In more recent times there have been indigenous people, colonial settlements, residences and even a rock quarry. Explore the past as we learn the cultures and critters from Flat Rock’s history and see what clues have been left behind.
