Come explore the fabulous forest at Flat Rock Brook. Search for creatures living in the trees while you hike the forest paths. Learn why our urban forest is so unique and important while taking daily hikes, making crafts, playing games, and of course - taking a canoe trip around the Quarry Pond!

Sunny days and clear nights, a classic summer camp experience! Gaze into the sky as we search for clouds, flying creatures, and signs of a summer storm. then blast off into space to make your own constellation, rockets, and paint your own nebula as we have fun exploring the summer sky.

Explore the wonderful world of Flat Rock Brook’s forest and wild places. Search for wildlife along the trails and visit with our native animal ambassadors. Campers will enjoy hikes, crafts, animals, and of course a canoe ride!

Flat Rock Nature trails are full of reptiles and amphibians, see how many you can find as we travel through the forest and wetlands in search of Flat Rock Reptiles. See the pond turtles up close on a canoe trip around Quarry Pond.

Explore the world - literally! This camp group will learn what makes the third rock from the sun so AMAZING! Campers will hike, craft, and learn about rocks, geology, the rock cycle, and how water effects it all! Then we will take the canoe out on the water for a short trip around quarry pond.

Spend the end of our summer camp experience with us in the great outdoors as we explore all things nature. Hike the trail to our beautiful stream and paint a water color picture inspired by the scene. Look for deer, fox, turkey, and all the amazing birds and animals that call Flat Rock Brook Nature Preserve their home. And we can’t miss the last opportunity for the acclaimed “canoe trip around Quarry Pond!”
